You really need to retool the weapon damage. The very first zombie gunship game had a surprising accurate level of weapon damage. If I fire a rocket pod in to a group a zombies, which I’m assuming used to be living humans, it’s going to wreck them. Not kill maybe a couple and the rest walk away. I don’t understand the purpose either of this imaginary “sniper” weapon that you dreamt up. Keep it simple, you’re over complicating this stuff. Get rid of the machine gun. Put a 30mm cannon on the Apache and offer different ammo load outs. Rockets and hellfire missiles. Stop “over gamming it”. You got the right tools. I’m more than happy to help you guys with weapon knowledge and research and I’ll do it for free.

    Current Version: 1.2

My first impressions of Zombie Gunship Revenant were very positive and my experience with the game hasn't faltered much either. However, the game has lost some of its playability. I was able to reach scenario 4 before I encountered any real frustration. All the scenarios up to this point were fun and challenging but never frustrating. Scenario 4 is completely opposite to this experience. I've played Scenario 4 at least over 30 times without ever being able to pass it and I doubt I will be able to pass it any time soon. Now considering the fact that I was able to pass the other scenarios with under 5 tries, this presents an obvious problem. Scenario 4 is clearly too difficult, either for its arrangement of defenses or dispense of zombies. It's overwhelming and quite frankly, unplayable. I've done the best I can to obtain a mark 4 cannon, mark 2 rockets, mark 4 machine gun, and a mark 4 machine gun. Even with these weapons, the level is extremely frustrating and upgrades to these weapons come far and thin. I really enjoy the game but wished some changes could be made soon.

I have to admit this game is awesome as can be but like some of the other players have said once you get so far it bacomes impossible to get any further. Way to many zombies overtake you no matter what weapons you use! I’ve gotten to lever 4 but i’ve been stuck there for a week and it gets frustrating enough to want to quit play in the game. As far as the weapons, just offer the machine gun without Mark1 or Mark2 and so on. Offer the gun and the ability to raise its power and ability. I currently have a MarkIII Machine Gun & MarkI Machine Gun which one overheats way faster than the other. Just some ideas to make this one of the best games available.thanks.

We need to be able to upgrade the guns of our choice. I’ve been playing and playing and not able to upgrade any of the guns I have chosen only the guns that I don’t use that hardly do any good!

I want the ability to play this game on my iPhone & iPad but cant find a way to link my play on both.  iPad is great for size & phone provides great vibration feedback.  Can you sort this please.

There really needs to be a better reference for controls.  I have done most of this with discovery learning, but I am afraid I am missing something as I cannot get past level 3 after many tries.  Feel like I am missing a key control or something.  Also, is there a special way that you can get the different crates?  I don’t really know how to obtain them in a specific way, just seems random at the end of the battle.  Or is that exactly it?  There really is no manual on how to play.  Can you send me something along these lines?

The game itself is actually pretty decent, there’s a lot of room for improvement though. The weapons don’t really perform as well as they should. The cannon is useless have lvl 4 attacked a group of 5 lumped together they all kept walking through the entire salvo. The rocket pods should do more damage also, after all there’s several rockets. They say there good for small groups, I can’t say that there really effective. Sniper is ok for like the first four giants after that forget about it. The missle does tear up some zombie horde but does nothing to the giants, in fact the only way to kill the giants is with the machine gun and sniper. That stops working after you use it a couple times, machine guns overheat way to fast for the amount firing you have to do once you get into the higher number of waves. Normal load out for me is a Purple MG @ lvl 3 with 3/8 upgrades and a yellow MG @Lvl 2 with 0/4 upgrades, a purple sniper @ lvl 1 with 1/2 upgrades. I also agree with one of the other reviews on how sparse the upgrades are on the weapons I keep getting upgrades on the ones I’m not even using anymore.

If the object is to keep the horde from getting into the base they really shouldn’t get harder to kill as the waves increase there should be just more zombies as the waves increase. You are bound to loose if you have to shoot the same zombies more then you had to earlier in the game.

It also would be nice if we could upgrade the fire power of units on the ground. To match the gunship would be awesomeness but I’d settle for more damage.

Another thing I noticed which I think is unfair is that the game reads your load out and sends zombies opposite the load out. What I mean by that is I’ve loaded two snipers on my load out a few times and got far less giants in comparison to if I didn’t have no snipers at all. It sends a lot of giants when you don’t have a snipers.

Sorry I sunk money into this one. And I don’t mean $5. And with that ‘investment’ and hours of play—and upgrades—this game is just not fun anymore. Weapons take forever to upgrade. Feels like I have to play a level a dozen times to see any chance for upgrades, and then it’s to some lower level weapon at the bottom of my list. Why would I upgrade an old/low class weapon? Worse, the weapons I do attempt to use seem to do little damage. The waves are, as expected, relentless, but the ability to do damage and progress at a reasonable rate isn’t happening. Way more frustrating than fun. And now I feel like I’ve been taken. Unfortunate.

I sent a ticket in for this, but I’ll post here as well.

    I love this game!

But it isn’t without its flaws that could be very easy to fix.

Weapon balance: the CANON weapons have an absurdly small explosion radius that makes the weapon completely worthless. In no case is the CANON - Mark IV better than the Machine Gun - Mark I, and that’s not a good thing.

Another massive flaw is the acquisition of weapon upgrades. It doesn’t matter what onslaught you play, silver crates contain the same level loot, and it’s the majority of crates that you receive. This needs to be fixed!

I understand money needs to be made, and I myself have already purchased one premium crate with the deal, but you guys would make more money if you offered these weapons at a much smaller price! And if you fixed the loot distribution, it would give players a sense of accomplishment that would keep them playing more!

I love this game, and I think you guys could very heavily improve its quality with minimal effort.

Now for the final request I could make that would net you guys lots of money.

    ADD MICRO TRANSACTIONS FOR MODIFIERS!
Let me pay 2 dollars to permanently upgrade my MISSILE - MARK IV with -2 seconds off cool down, or the ability to store 2 full charges if I don’t use it for 10 additional seconds!

Let me upgrade my Machine Gun with reduced recoil for 1 dollar!

Let me pay 1 dollar to add additional armor to my base!

Let me pay 1 dollar to remove friendly fire on my structures!

Make this game more fun by adding such simple options! You have already made too much money from some players that have purchased crates, more than any $4 game with hours of playtime. Give us more options!

Message me back if you have any ideas to implement these please, I really would like to know. 👍🏻

    To add to this.

we shouldn’t get punished so harshly for making it to wave 20, or wave 30. Let us make it all the way to wave 70 and up without feeling like all the money and time we have spent doesn’t make it worth it! Let us feel accomplished by destroying horde after horde of zombies! Make our weapons powerful and quick to use, and let us tear through loads of zombies for fun! And let us get some freakin weapon upgrades! Especially for those of us that you have already earned money from. We especially deserve to be able to upgrade our gear.

you guys are being way too selfish by not letting us acquire weapon upgrades even after having purchased gear.

it could be as simple as locking WEAPON - MARK V behind a paywall, and after you acquire those, all boxes drop that weapon piece to upgrade it.

your goal should be to make some money off all players. Not lots of money off of few players.

most everyone is willing to spend a dollar or two or five or 10 if the game is good.

I’m wondering if you guys are planing to do any sort of updates.

It’s gotten to the point that I can no longer play the game. My weapons are useless once I reach level 14 on Carnage, 19 on Onslaught and 24 on Assualt.  The rockets and cannons are completely useless.  So I play with a purple sniper that’s at level 2 of 4, a yellow MG which is at level 2 of which I’ve gotten zero upgrades since acquiring it. I run a purple missle which is also at level 2 with 0 of 4 upgrades and a yellow missle at level 2 with 0 of 4 upgrades.  I continue to only get upgrades for the weapons that I don’t use they are far more useless then what I play with already.  My only undiscovered weapons are yellow sniper which would help and the useless rockets. I buy crates and still get the same useless upgrades for the useless weapons.  If your not going to address the issues that have been brought to your attention please let me know so I can uninstall the game and find something else.

    Thanks for your time.

You have to play the various levels to unlock them.  The more you play the more weapons you unlock/upgrade.

What’s the difference between a healthy and unhealthy zombie? Not much you lead the healthy one a bit more but they both frag fairly much the same.

I’d love to spend my cash on this game but the prices feel way too high for not even getting a guaranteed upgraded weapon (unless i’m wrong?).
i’ve played a lot of this game but at the moment i’m just grinding and getting almost nothing to work with, i don’t want to get bored of this one but at this rate i’ll have to play non stop for what feels like another month to enjoy the harder levels with better weapons. maybe add weapon unlocks at the level they are available for a small price (99p - 2.99)
unless you take in enough at the moment anyway... in which case ignore my last

Agreed with Lé Gargamel. Tried a couple games after this latest update. Still scratching my head... How many more hours will it take to receive a few measly weapons—those mystery weapons that I can never seem to "find"? Let alone weapon updates? And for that matter, the weapon classifications are just...convoluted. Why not simplify those labels so we don't have to open and close weapon info windows to know strength and reload stats?

Change some algorithms here, for cryin' out loud. It's a GAME—let it be FUN, not a grinding chore.

    I'm out.

I’m a fan, don’t get me wrong! But....

If I hadn’t paid for the Mark4 AGM I would have deleted this game a long time ago.

After a few months of occasional play I find myself stuck again. I assume that I need to upgrade my sniper system or find the Mark4 version of it but as previously stated the upgrade process takes too long and focusses on the earlier Marks.

I also agree that the weapons offered could be far more realistic and their effects too.

.30cal rotary, 20/30mm cannon (selective ammo), Brimstone rockets, Hellfire missiles etc etc

I’m not giving up but c’mon guys! This could be a cult classic with a bit of tweaking.

    Love

Has anyone else noticed the blaring fault that is the cannon? By fault, I mean that it does NOTHING to the enemy. I mean that literally. It's supposed to be used against smaller clusters of Zeds, but in practice you could have a swarm directly beneath you, fire, and have it do absolutely nothing. C'mon, devs - fix this! Daddy wants some carnage!

    Good afternoon Limbic,

Is there any chance you could update us on the progress of the much anticipated/needed update please? I understand that you’re probably busy with other projects but you have a very very good basis for a cult classic in ZG Revenant and I am on the edge of my seat (still!) waiting to see what you can do with it.

I just had another thought regarding the playability of the game;-

Perhaps you should add more destroyable structures of varying strength to the game area outside the base to add more options for creating kill-zones and bottlenecks so that the player isn’t solely reliant on weapons systems???

And to reiterate what the general consensus is regarding the increasing strength of the zeds;-

Don’t bother! They should technically get softer right? So just increase the numbers of walkers and perhaps make the big ones stronger?

But as Mr Coble so eloquently put it;-

The cannon is useless! Whereas a single round from the real-steel version is literally devastating to soft targets within 5-10 metres.

    We eagerly anticipate your response.

I think I speak for everyone when I say we’re still ‘eagerly anticipating your response’ and I wanted to add another thought if I’m not boring everyone;-

I’ve been ‘experimenting’ with the imaginary sniper pod (this and the mk4 AGM I purchased being the only reasons I’ve kept playing btw) and I can confirm that head shots are as effective against the big ones as centre mass hits so perhaps in the update we can expect a little more realism in this respect too?

Anyhoo! I’m going to play for another week and if there’s no update on the update I’m afraid I will have to move on 😢

    Regards I M H

ps obviously I don’t want to move on! My threat is almost certainly hollow 😂

This game has the potential to be awesome.  My biggest issue is that the controls lock up during game play and you fail the mission.  Also, if you shoot a zombie with a cannon round as you did in the first zombie gunship, they should die on impact.  Same with rockets.  But my BIGGEST gripe is that the controls freeze.  Fix that, and you'll have a near perfect game.

I am still trying to get my money back from you.  I bought two 'The Motherlode' upgrades for $4.99 each.  The game crashed on my cell phone soon after install.  I re-installed and all my progress AND the upgrades disappeared.  I purchased on July 20th.  NO ONE is responding other than one message from you stating, 'We are looking into it'.

Why can’t I play on both my iPhone and iPad?  For some reason they won’t link… I don’t want to play two separate games! Sometimes I want to use my iPad for the screen size but sometimes I really love the vibration of my phone… Please help it recognizes my user name on both but I won’t link, what am I missing?
